Art has coursed through my veins since childhood, a passion bestowed upon me by our creator in my earliest years. As a young boy, I discovered an innate talent for capturing likenesses, and portraiture quickly became my first artistic love. In those formative years, I immersed myself in the crafts of pen and ink, silk screen printing, and lithography, while also learning the intricacies of darkroom techniques.
Throughout the decades, I have explored a wide range of mediums, from the rich hues of oil and acrylics to the delicate transparency of watercolors. Living in Europe for an extended period, I found myself perpetually inspired by the wondrous sights surrounding me, compelled to capture them through the lens of my camera or the strokes of my brush.
In recent years, I made a serendipitous discovery that would once again transform my artistic journey. By chance, I witnessed a member of the younger generation creating art on a tablet, and I was instantly captivated. Recognizing the potential of this new medium, I embarked on a path to master digital painting. With a wealth of experience in traditional mediums and graphic arts, the transition felt like a natural progression in my ever-evolving artistic journey. Barry Dyar
